Detalles: Descripción Speakers reproduce sound based on high, low, or mid-range frequencies. This process is called the crossover effect and occurs because the vast majority of audio systems cannot cover the entire spectrum sufficiently to minimize sound distortion and maintain an appropriate frequency ratio. A lot of amplifiers have either a built-in “variable” crossover so that you can set the frequency at exact sound specifications or a “fixed” crossover. By connecting the BX45 to your amplifier, you will have total control you exactly how you want your bass to sound, as well as your mid level and high level frequencies, giving you a pristine listening experience. Find a suitable location in the vehicle to mount your BX45. Bolt the crossover to a secure mounting surface avoiding making any holes near areas with electrical wiring, gas tank, etc. Using the screw terminals provided, connect the shortest possible wire to the chassis ground point. The +12V connection should be made directly to the car battery, and remote should be connected to the remote turn on lead of your head unit. When connecting directly to the battery, install a 3A fuse within 18 inches of the battery terminal. Connect all line inputs and outputs using high quality RCA cables. Recheck all connections before powering up. Set all level controls to their minimum positions and set all crossover controls, switches, etc. to the desired frequency or positions. Once the system is powered up, set the volume control on the head unit to a moderate level where your normal speaking voice can e heard while the music is playing. Further fine tuning of the various controls may be necessary to obtain the desired results. When unsure about installation or system tuning, please contact an authorized Boss Audio technical advisor at 1-800-999-1236 ext. 1631.
