Detalles: Descripción Specifications 6.5 inch, 500 Watt 2-way component speaker system Impedance: 4 Ohms Frequency: 65Hz – 22KHz Sensitivity: 94 dB @ 1 W/1 m Midrange: 1-1/2 inch cone Mounting depth: 2-3/8” What Comes In The Box? One pair of speaker wires Mounting screws Two custom tooled grilles Mounting template Frame – Diecast Aluminum There are a couple of advantages of die-casting over stamping speaker frames. One of the more noticeable differences is the fact that a die-cast frame has better resonant frequencies. This means that the frame is able to absorb and transfer much of the energy produced by the speaker, rather than vibrating like a bell would when it is stricken. A die-cast frame is more durable and harder to damage or break, and it has high dimensional stability for complex shapes, good corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and retains strength at high temperatures. Surround – Butyl Rubber Butyl Rubber is a synthetic rubber and is valued for its chemical inertness, impermeability to air, and the ability to endure or resist exposure to the many types of weather fronts. Butyl rubber has applications from sports equipment to automotive parts, the medical industry, and more. We use them for the surrounds that connect the cone to the basket. Just as chewing gum uses food-grade butyl rubber as the central gum base, which contributes not only the gum's elasticity but an obstinate, sticky quality, the butyl rubber surround in our speakers can take the equivalent amount of abuse without quitting. Voice Coil – Aluminum Our speakers are capable of higher or elevated temperature strength and fatigue properties that will increase performance and efficiency of heavy duty play time through lower weight and higher operating temperatures. Cone – Electroplate Injection Electroplating is primarily used to change the surface properties of metallic or metal objects, for example, abrasion and wear resistance, corrosion protection, lubricity, and aesthetic qualities. Similar benefits can be obtained by applying a thin layer of electroplated film to our cones for great sounding speakers that will last you a long time. Tweeter – Dome Generally, the dome tweeter is a step up from the semi-dome tweeter, primarily because of improved sound dispersion. The dome shape radiates sound with a wider dispersion pattern than the semi-dome design. Since high-frequency sound waves are very directional, a wider dispersion of the sound waves will give you a larger "sweet spot" to work with when setting up your system.
